Earth (by Lee Crutchley | Quoteskine)
Iván Capotem, History. 2001, Glass, metal, wood, electric motor, pen, felt 104 x 100 x 17 cm Edition 2/3
The piece is a mechanical sculpture, with a pen attached to one circling arm and an eraser attached to the other. As one arm marks the glass, the other arm all too quickly erases – suggesting lessons in history that have not been learnt.
The exhibit will be up from December 14–17 and
closing reception is Friday, Dec 17th, 6–8PM.
Snacks will be provided!
